Lima
is both the capital and largest city in Peru. As you
would expect from a city with Lima’s rich history
there is plenty for students at the Business College
of Peru to see and do. The pace of life in Lima tends
to be slower than in other South American cities giving
Lima a feeling of being a small cluster of towns rather
than a large metropolis.
At night life revolves around the penas, bars that offer
folk, jazz and Peruvian Creole music. Among Peruvians
Lima is known as the gastronomical capital of the Americas
and its cuisine is heavily influenced by the waves of
African, European, Chinese and Japanese immigrants who
have settled here over the years. There are hundreds
of different bars and restaurants to try till you find
you’re favourite.
Lima is also the cultural capital of Peru, home to the
highest concentration of museums in the country such
as the Museum of Art of Lima and the Museum of Natural
History. With 4 professional football clubs and a wide
range of other sporting venues you are sure to enjoy
your time here in this beautiful and historic city.
